I've had the pleasure of visiting here both for Sunday brunch and dinner. A fantastic 'everybody knows your name' tavern with amazing food (everything has a little twist) from burgers to pasta, and great beer selection. Get there early to grab a table, or cozy up to the bar.
Lucky's is a fantastic place! The atmosphere is inviting and the staff is incredibly friendly. Not to mention the food itself would get 5 stars! Their brunch menu is diverse and has plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Also their cocktails are worth getting! I cannot recommend Lucky's more!

I'll start off by saying that Lucky's is a great eatery for anyone looking for amazing sweet potato fries! I have always received wonderful service here and I always enjoy my food. Drinks can really add up though, as they have a pretty good selection of beers and cocktails. This is one of my go-to joints for casual dining with groups! It hasn't let me down thus far! :)
We got The Cobra and Model T burgers. The red potato fries were amazing. The Cobra had peanut butter, I’d recommend peanut sauce instead, but otherwise it tasted good. I’d go there again, thank you for the good service! Parking is in the back for those wondering, first street after turning the corner, drive down the alley.
Lucky's Taproom & Eatery is a fantastic spot for a drink + a bite in Dayton, OH! I recently visited for the first time with my boyfriend, and we had an absolutely awesome experience! :-) First, the service here is incredible. Taylor took amazing care of us during our late lunch, and she was such a joy to converse with! Second, their food is SO good - I highly recommend their Vegan Tequila Chili (with cheese, sour cream, and onion added on). Further, their burgers are so, so delicious as well - The Model T (sub Impossible Burger for the patty) is a classic, and perfectly paired with a side of fries + their signature sauce. Additionally, we shared their House Margarita during our meal, which was a great cocktail! Lucky's might look a little unassuming from outside, but you must visit - this place is wonderful! I also want to include a little history from their website here, as I thought it was pretty cool to read through when we visited: "Established in 2011, Lucky's is a full-service bar and restaurant in Dayton's Historic Oregon District. The atmosphere is comfortable, superior quality service is provided based on a teamwork approach, and delicious food is served at a reasonable price. Proud to have two flat top grills so that true vegan food choices are available, Lucky's also serves traditional food and vegetarian options as well. There are weekly homemade specials, homemade soups and unique homemade desserts. Lucky's, with twenty revolving beer taps, is also proud to be able to provide you with the largest selection of craft draft beers in the Oregon District. New selections are available often. Quality cocktails are also available at reasonable prices." Thanks so much for having us, Lucky's!! We are looking forward to returning if we're ever in Dayton, OH again in the future!
Great location & cool no-gimmicks vibe. Just a chill bar with super good food. Almost everything on the menu has the ability to be made vegan - it blew my mind. Very extensive vegan offerings - many of which are made in house. I was massively impressed and very grateful it popped up in my happy cow search while traveling. I definitely hope to stop in again.
Love the braised greens. I could make a meal out of just them! Excellent sandwiches — all the food I’ve ever had there is super flavorful and delicious. Oh, and the fries, too! Yum! Love the vegetarian and GF options as well.
Vegan options galore, that are tasty to boot. The vegan chocolate cake is one of the best I've had, and it held up perfectly til the next day.
Lots of gluten free options! Our serves was spectacular. I didn't get her name but the tall one with her dark purple hair pulled back and glasses. She was very knowledgeable about gluten free options and asked detailed questions about my request to make sure my food was safe to eat for me. A+
